Apis Mt. Emey Footwear Series for Foot Deformities, Severe Bunion/Bunionette, Hammer/Claw/Overlapping Toes/Arthritis/Ankle/Joint Fusion/Severs Edema/Swelling/Bony Deformities and Achilles Tendonitis. Designed with flexible expandable foam collar, ideal for people who are sedentary or in a wheelchair. The entire collar of the shoe is made of expandable elastic foam fabrics, designed to conform to the shape of the ankle and significantly reduce archilles pressure. Expandable Lycra padded color provides flexibility for severe ankle swelling. Designed with a built-in flex area on medial and lateral side of the shoes, this unique design will accomodate mild or severe bunion/bunionette situations. The lycra stretchable top will allow more room in the shoe for claw or hammer toes. The outsole is constructed with EVA materials for easy modification. Designed to accommodate mild to severe bunion, severe edema, hammer toes and R.A foot deformities, and Ankle/Foot braces (AFO). This Apis shoe features true sizes, widths and a wide opening for easier entry.

Bought for my son with disabilities. He has very high tone in his feet and they curl as we put them in a shoe. We were able to twist his foot in and he is so pleased that he can now wear shoes, not slippers like he has done for so long.Loved the fact this shoe had a video allowing us to see exactly how shoe opened. Husband has swollen edema feet between 12.5 and 13 circumference. We purchased size 12 XXwide. They fit perfect, top of shoe is stretchy material to allow for comfort and swelling. Velcro is long enough to maneuver level of tightness We highly recommend.A good Diabetic shoe, but I supernate so much that I still had to get Flairs installed under the sole (this is not a criticism).Great shoe for my brothers feet , which are very swollen , he wearsthem all the time so glad we found them.Shoes are well made and arrived on time. Unfortunately, only needed one shoe because of the size of a leg brace.Best shoe tried in 12 years.Would like more flexibility in the toe, but nice shoes anyhoo.Strap broke after three monthsiT'S HARD TO FINE SHOES TO FIT MY WIFE. THESE FIT GOOD ON HER.
