I really like these socks. Some may say spending over $20 for a pair of socks is a bad deal. But if you consider the quality and guarantee , well they are worth it. Not to thick that I can't wear them with boots, walking shoes and dress shoes. I make sure to not put them in the dryer. They keep my feet warm and dry when it matters. And they are fine to wear all seasons. At least in my climate.I will probably buy again.Love these socks, they have been on countless hikes, anywhere between short 3 mile hikes to a week long backpacking trip that covered 100 miles. Comfortable fit and naturally odor resistant they will probably be the only thing that doesn't stink on you after a long hike. I have a couple pair now but honestly you could get away with one pair if need be. I don't even wash them after every hike, usually only when they get really dirty or sopping wet. Can't recommend these enough! These make great work socks for jobs that have you on your feet all day. I would wear them for hiking trips, or anything else that requires a lot of foot-work.I've used these in most ultramarathons I've done. I got a slightly longer version recently and used both in a 100 miler with water crossings. I haven't tried many other socks, so I unable to compare.Way easier to order have delivered than driving to the mall and not finding what you are looking for.I highly recommend these socksThese are super comfortable and last well. Warranty is top of the line. Will be buying additional pairs.I'm on my first day wearing a pair of these socks, so I'll try to update after a long time has passed and I've worn/washed them many times. My first impression is they are surprisingly soft. I wore them for a whole day of mowing grass and my feet did not hurt at the end of the day, so I think these socks held up very well for day 1.Being nice and soft, they are also slippery. This means sliding a shoe on is even easier, but I normally wear my shoes kind of loose, so these socks are prone to slipping around in the shoe. I don't think this is bad, just something to be aware of, I might have to tighten my shoestrings more or something, we'll see.Definitely happy with these so far, and haven't noticed anything at all I'd want changed. These are the best socks ever ! Replacement all my old white tube socks with these , yes there expensive but,, guaranteed for life!I wear hiking socks most days and my default favourite are Thorlos Light Hiking Socks. Thought I'd give these a try though as they get good reviews but have to confess to being a little disappointed. Despite the Merino they don't seem as warm as the Thorlos and oddly seem more clammy when your feet do get hot. They also require more washing care and don't do well in a dryer whereas the Thorlos seem fairly indestructible. One area they probably will excel at though, being Merino, is in not getting too smelly if you wear your socks for more than a day before washing, which I don't, hence I can't give an opinion based on experience. Not great socks, very expensive, developed a hole in the toe after about 100miles of wear. Claimed in the warranty and never heard a thing. Crap socks, crap warranty, crap uk distributor.Love darn tough brand but do not see the purpose of this sock. I have full sock, micro crew and 1/4 sock. This micro crew is literally 1cm shorter than the regular sock. You cannot tell the difference unless you lay them out next to one another. Hence I later purchased the 1/4 sock which I prefer to wear with shorts during summer hikesGreat socks. Very expensive but worth it in the long run. They will outlast all of your other socks. Will be comfortable longer and they actually look ok too!Bought on the recommendation of ‘ Trail’ magazine as their best all round sock. Fit is good with little bunching around my little toes. Warm, but not toasty, they are an excellent all round sock that work well in a large variety of shoes, boots and my wellingtons. Though pricey, they are worth the extra. A worthy winner of the best in test by Trail.
