Comfortable hunting trousers in hardwearing, quiet G-1000 Silent Eco with tapered legs that fit easily into a pair of rubber boots. Developed for easier hunting in timeless, simple style making them just as suitable on the shooting range and they have every chance of becoming favourites for everyday use as well. The fabric is weather and wind resistant and effectively ventilates out moisture. The fit is regular with a mid waist that is slightly higher at the back so they sit comfortably when squatting down or carrying a backpack with a hipbelt. There is a knife pocket on the right-hand leg, hand pockets and back pockets with buttons. Reinforced brace zones for easy attachment of braces. Fixed leg length.

As long as you do your imperial to metric conversions correctly, these pants fit absolutely perfectly. Rugged and good looking. Great in Fall, Spring, and Summer, but have not proven very effective in howling winter wind.Fjallraven makes some of my favorite pants - very high quality.The Sormland Tapered Trouser fit was a little too baggy near the hips and waist.It makes them look too messy to wear casually - these are strictly for the field.I purchased size 48 which is 32 in the US. That’s my regular size. I have other Fjallraven pants in this size which fit very well, like the Vidda Pro. These pants fit very loosely in the waist and seat. They came designated as LONG. I don’t know if Fjallraven makes them in the regular or short lengths. I washed them in hot water and dried them in the dryer. They barely shrank. I’ll need to pay someone to shorten the length. Not sure what to do about the loose fit.I read the reviews before buying and they were accurate even to the point that they do need shortening before I could wear. Fortunately I have someone who can use a sewing machine. Walking is a joy in these trousers.nach einem halben Jahr sind an Bund, Nähten und der Messertasche deutliche Abnutzungsspuren zu erkennen. Diese Art der "Materialermüdung" hätte ich nicht erwartet, vor allem nicht bei Fjällräven. Die Hose ist von mir auch nicht extrem genutzt worden (Alltags-/Wanderhose). Das Konzept der Sörmland Tapered Hose ist ja eigentlich Jagdbekleidung. Das G1000-Material ist an sich robust, das G1000-Silent, wie hier verbaut hat mich nicht überzeugt. Daher sehe ich auch als Jagdhose diese eher ungeeignet. Ich besitzte bereits Fjällräven-Hosen und wer eine leichte Wanderhose sucht, dem kann ich das Modell High Coast absolut empfehlen. Sie ist windabweisend, atmungsaktiv und sehr bequem. Ich besitze diese Hose länger als die Sörmland und sie sieht immer noch aus wie am ersten Tag.Für die Sörmland Tapered Hose kann ich definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung geben.Schnitt modisch… Qualität ganz ok… Aber meiner Meinung zu hoher Preis?Perfecte pasvorm, kwaliteit kost nu eenmaal geld
