My husband love these socks because they are soft and warm. He recommends them for the whole family and he feels they are worth the money so I will continue to buy them for him.I live and work in the mountains and need polar rated gear in the winter. These are the best socks I have found yet for the last layer of insulation for my feet without making them sweat too much.I absolutely love these socks! Very comfy and warm.I feel like I'm walking on kitten fur and have barely taken these socks off since I got them. They are so very pretty. I find them to be the right size, but they have stretched out some since I got them a few days ago. When I take off my pants, they slide right along with them. There really isn't any form to them, like regular socks. But that is not an issue for me as I was looking for warmth. I got it.I wore these for our, family, Christmas celebration. I was outside for around 15 to 20 minutes, in a light pair of boots. They kept my toesies warm. Oddly, when I got back inside, they felt chilly. But they warmed right back up within seconds. I also wear these to bed on those brisk nights when I can see my breath. Our bedroom is really cold. I find I sleep so much better with my Heat Holders than without them. I did take them off, last night, due to my feet feeling hot. I regret doing that now. I did not get the quality of sleep as when I wore them.Be aware they are very thick and cannot be worn with your own size shoes or boots. I have boots that are a size larger than my normal size (9) so they work well with them.They are a little tight at the tops and caused my legs to hurt because my circulation was, somewhat, cut off. I remedied that problem by just folding them down.I have been wearing them as slippers. So my next purchase will be Heat Holders slipper socks. I also will be buying the Wellington boot ones. I think what I will do is to buy a new pair every month until I get all the styles and colors I want. That way, I will always have clean socks as well as many different styles and patterns.I, highly, recommend you buy these. You will not be sorry.My grandmother gave me my first pair of Heat Holders when I was in middle school, and they lasted me through college! Naturally after 10 years they started to show their age, and was so glad when I found these on Amazon. My first pair were the Brown Unisex Original Thermals, but decided to go with the Women's Twist Thermal in Greystoke 1830 as loved the pattern and color. In my opinion the Twist is a little thinner than the Originals, but not drastically so. My feet stay cold all year no matter the temperature, so I throw these on every night. I love these socks so much that I'm going to order another pair soon! I was worried that they might be too small as they are for women's size 5-9 (I'm typically a 10-11), but they fit perfectly! Not too loose, not too snug, and have enough give for my foot size. The interior is just as soft as I remember. They are a bit thick for shoes so I mostly wear them as house socks, but they do fit down in my Uggs and are super cozy and snug when I need that extra warmth. I gave my boyfriend the Men's Twist for his birthday and he wears them every night! My mom and sister also ordered the Women's Twist and love them as much as I do. They wear size 8-9 and they also fit them perfectly. I'll also be ordering these as Christmas gifts for several other family members.Note: To the people that complain their feet stay cold even in these socks, I would recommend soaking your feet in a warm tub and then putting the socks on to "hold the heat" in. Sometimes my feet get so cold that socks won't even change that, but that's not a result of the socks, just cold feet! :)See anoveI really like these socks. They aren't QUITE as warm and thick as I'd hoped for, but then I'm very picky. The average person would say they are great. My feet get cold so easily, so I like really thick socks. Not everyone does. Mainly, they are VERY soft and comfy. They don't twist at all, and stay exactly as I put them on. I am a woman, and I got the men's by mistake (MY mistake, as I didn't read the ad well enough), and my feet are an 8, and they fit perfectly well. Very attractive too. I get compliments on them. I hand wash them in warm water and air dry, and have had no problems with shrinkage. Just a bit of "fluff" inside the socks after they dry if I scrub them too hard, but it's not much at all, and I would think it would be expected.. Overall, I love them and will keep buying them, as it is very hard for me to find socks that I like and fit my requirements.When you get these, they'll look REALLY nice! After you wear them... for like a day... the entire outside of the sock will be covered in stray fuzz with random little bits of fluff/lint... because I guess it was just too complicated to make a sock that doesn't start to disintegrate right out of the box....but hey, the super warm/cozy factor... oh yeah, that's AWESOME. Find a way to keep that... but put it into something that won't look like a dog's chew toy after one use.I have diabetic neuropathy and my feet would feel very cold in the evenings when I was sitting and relaxing. These socks are amazing they keep my feet nice and warm now.
