These mittens are wonderfully warm and will last longer than me in 0 degree winter weather. Unlike a glove that separates the fingers, these keep your fingers together thus hugely maximizing heat retention. They are, however, not really intended for work use where gripping is needed. Snow shovels, brooms, pooper scoopers, anything requiring a firm grip will slide around. Great for slogging through the snow on your way somewhere or building snowmen with the kids but for work, not so much.
