These are the BEST socks I have ever owned I am on my second set of 5 pairs in about 3 years.Bamboo socks are ridiculously expensive, especially a particular brand known for their sheets. I bought a couple brands of cheaper bamboo socks to compare and the Ecosox ones were the best of the bunch. They have a nice amount of padding, not to thick for dress shoes, but not to thin to wear with tennis shoes. They stay nice and cool, but I don't know how well they do in cold as I live in a blighted wasteland. I have had them for several months now and they are still very comfortable and have not stretched out or frayed at all. I ordered a second pack after the first month and threw out all my other black dress socks, since these are so much more comfortable.Ecosox made manly from bamboo are anti microbial so they never smell bad. And I never have blisters.What was ridiculous about this order was that all I wanted was 5 pairs of socks. I paid for 5, and received only 1. Because this was a third party vendor, there was no simple option to just receive another package with 4 more pair. I had to return this one pair to a local Whole Foods. I’m going to a store from now on to purchase things like this. Really frustrating. I want to make clear there was nothing wrong with the socks. They are great socks. Had I received my order, I would have given it 5 stars.I wear these with jeans, suits, dockers, around the house. They take forever to wear out (except for the very top of the heels where the fabric transitions--Ecosox, are you listening). I buy a couple packs a year cuz they are that good. The only thing I won't wear them with is shorts, or sandals. The AW can tolerate many things, but she can't tolerate socks with shorts or sandals...Very comfortable and thick. The dryer struggles with these.I ordered these hoping it was what I had ordered in the past and liked. Wrong orderI like these item a lot. I am on my feet for about 6 hours a day. They support well. My feet are not as tiered as they were before with regular socks. I have tried different kinds of shoes which help a little. These socks help so much more. You do have to wash them in cold water, they shrink a little in the wash. The price is a little high.
