If you take a larger size shoe, go for the larger size sock and they'll last a longer time. I wear about a size 11 shoe, so I chose the larger of the two sizes. I was concerned it might be too big, since the range went up to 15+, but they fit perfectly. They're not too tight either, which would have sped up the wearing out process. From years of experience wearing socks since I was a kid, these are quality socks with a medium thickness but a nice quality sewing job from Dickies, who also make great pairs of cargo pants and regular pants. For the low price I paid, I am very pleased with the quality and finish of these socks, which matches the quality I've paid for much more expensive socks at the stores. I have washed them inside out several times and the lint is all over my feet, the shower, and the floor every time I take them off. I forced myself to wear them since I bought so many. But I’m glad it’s time for new ones.
